Miss Jessica believes in the children of today. They are the ones who will take care of our Earth, invent the IPhone 55, and create the next “Amazon.” As parents and teachers it’s important for us to nurture children with love and support as well as provide ample opportunities for curiosity and creativity. In doing so, we can help them become emotionally healthy adults who are confident and have strong critical thinking skills. It is up to us to support the next generation of humans!
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work at New York University. From there I practiced both clinical therapy, case management, and school social work. Through my work with families, I understood the importance of taking a “team approach” between parents and school, working together to foster each child’s growth and development.
Melville Jewish Center has been my second home for many years. First as a parent, then as a teacher, and now as a Director. I am honored and proud to be in this position.

Miss Adrian is the dedicated lead toddler teacher who is stepping into the role of Assistant Director this year. With a strong belief that children possess limitless potential, she emphasizes the importance of kindness and social skills over academics during the formative toddler years. Adrian understands that learning occurs in various forms, often without children even realizing it. Outside of her professional life, she is a proud mother of five, a loving mother-in-law, and a joyful Grammy to one grandchild. A true Disney enthusiast, she finds immense joy in the magic that Disney brings to life.

Miss Joanne is a passionate early childhood educator who believes every child deserves to feel valued, capable, and loved. She creates nurturing classrooms where children build confidence, develop independence, and discover a joy for learning.
Joanne is trained in the Pyramid Model Consortium framework, using research-based strategies to support children’s social-emotional growth, positive relationships, and problem-solving skills. She is also a mentor for new teachers, helping educators create thoughtful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
Through intentional teaching, hands-on experiences, and strong family partnerships, Joanne inspires children, families, and teachers to grow, explore, and thrive.
